Paper Shaman

This paper costume Asya Kozina and Dmitriy Kozin created under strong impression from the indigenous art of Siberia. Whereas inspiring theme for many artists for many years was art of Africa, we brought our attention in a very different direction. Perm animal style was circulated between the VII century BC — XII century AD on the territory of North-Eastern Europe and Western Siberia. And when we met also with traditions of shamanism, popular in Siberia even now, suddenly formed single artistic puzzle: costume of shaman- the image that combining multi-layered mythology, shamanism, tatems, perm animal style and harsh nature of Siberia. Our photographer Yana Krutko create suitable atmosphere for this shooting, magical, mysterious taiga, obedient only for shaman.
